Hello, The maximum speed of the bicycle is about 30MPH.This is the maximum speed designed for the bike. If you want a faster speed. You need to learn more riding techniques and contact professionals to upgrade the bike. In any case: safety first.
You need to modify the motor, brakes, battery, and controller of the bike. This will cost a lot of money.
Q:How can i unlock top speed on k6 ebike
A:Hi, this setting is not supported.
I have confirmed with the technician.
Our K6 does not have any speed lock.
If you need higher speed.
You may need to refer to YouTube bloggers to modify and upgrade the ebike.
Note: The modified ebike will not be eligible for Hikeep warranty policy. Please make sure to comply with safety and local laws.

Top speed I’ve gotten to right out of the box was 36mph.. Perfect for small commutes and riding around the neighborhood
Mine tops out around 19 and I tried the 20 seconds thing and it hasn’t changed can you please help me out
my e-bike will not unlock and i am trying everything what can i do
I had to hold the + /- buttons down for 20 seconds after I powered the bike on, when you turn on the screen. It should take you to a menu where you can change the speed of your bike! It was super easy and my bike says it hits 42 mph. I’m not sure how accurate that is though.
Hey all! So I had the same problem as most of you and my K6L won’t go past 18mph! Well because is US laws with the e-bike speed limits, they send you the e-bike as is and if you are unable to unlock it with the throttle, brakes, hold for 20 seconds thing, then let support know and they will send you a new controller right away that you will be able to unlock! Hope this helped
